TEAM MEMBER OF THE MONTH

NATHAN FRANK

Flatiron Resident

I was originally born in Sacramento, CA, and Graduated with a B.S. in Real Estate Finance/Development from NYU. My Mom’s side of the family owns/operates commercial Real Estate on the West Coast, so I’ve always been drawn to the industry - it’s in the blood!

CHATTING WITH NATHAN

What is the most important quality you have as an agent that you try to convey to your clients?

Hard to put my finger on one, but I’d say it’s a combination of respect, communication, transparency, attention-to-detail, and going above and beyond the required scope of work.

If you were in line at the grocery store, what's the first magazine you would grab?

Good question. Most likely The Economist.

Where did you do your first deal?

Rental East-Village at 286 East 10th Street. Was a tenant-rep deal for a few friends. Will never forget that pay-check for a few-hundred dollars. I was on cloud-9!

Sale Financial District at 50 Pine Street in 2015. Sold it in a bidding war for almost $150k over ask in a week. Learned so much on that deal. Rest is history.

What is your favorite restaurant?

Charley St. in Nolita. It’s a new, Aussie inspired/operated fast-casual concept that I’ve been very fortunate to be a part of from the beginning. Incredible food and killer coffee. Go check it out.

What type of animal would you be?

Orca (Killer Whale) – unequivocally the smartest and most-dominant animal in the ocean. Not up for debate.

Truth or Dare?

Dare.

What's your favorite Bravo show?

Don’t watch TV unless it’s a notable sporting event like the NBA/NFL Playoffs, Presidential Debate, etc. That said, full marks to Ryan for what he’s done with MDLNY. If his Vlog were an option, I’d vote that. (S/o Adrian, Joe, and team)

What is your favorite building in New York?

116 University Place in the Village. NOW SOLD OUT.

If you could sell anything, what would it be?

An investment sales portfolio, capital for a PE/VC fund-raise, or a business ready to exit. I’m a nerd/sucker for anything RE/PE/VC finance.

Who is your dream client?

You? :)

What WAS THE BEST DATE NIGHT YOU HAD IN NEW YORK?

Hmmm. A lot of good ones with my lovely girlfriend Noy, but one that really comes to mine was our 1-Year anniversary where she surprised with me a ½ day of fun activities and good food, then I surprised here with a doors-open/feet-out helicopter tour of NYC, and went straight to Carbone after. That was all-time.

116 UNIVERSITY PLACE

SOLD OUT — $6,995,000 - $9,950,000

Nestled just a block away from Union Square, 116 University is a brand new boutique condominium offering five full-floor residences that redefine contemporary Greenwich Village luxury. Designed by experienced firm, Morris Adjmi Architects, the building is a modern expression of the historic neighborhood in which it sits. The façade in particular, with its use of corbelled brick windows, is a nod to the studio windows that were added to houses and apartments when the Village was the domain of artists and bohemians.
